The Banff Springs Golf Course

Renowned for its panoramic beauty, the Banff Springs Golf Course is both captivating and challenging. The optical illusions created by the mountains towering overhead can deceive the eye of even the most skilled player. Stanley Thompson, master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. Making the most of the natural landscape, he weaved the course around majestic evergreens, in the shadow of the mountains and along the banks of two rivers. In 1989, 9 holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout. The Banff Springs Golf Course is open from early May to mid-October.

The Banff Springs Golf Course Club House is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. Shuttle service is available between the hotel and the Club House, and leaves every half hour (on the hour and half hour) from the hotel's main entrance.
