The view from the south facing deck is spectacular! It is constructed of long cedar planks and is partially covered (and therefore snow-free during the winter months) and illuminated from above by recessed lighting. It is also equipped with an electrical outlet for the added convenience of a laptop computer, etc.

The surroundings are landscaped with creativity and sensitivity to ensure harmony with the natural environment. Pine and aspen trees surround it and provide shaded areas, but don't obscure the panoramic views of Mount Rundle, The Three Sisters, Cascade Mountain, and Chinaman's Peak. The deck also allows for private tanning during the summer months for those so inclined.

A comfortable fabric hammock for two, imported from Venezuela, lets you sway back and forth with the feeling that you're in the trees with the mountains all around. The birds gather in the trees and are visible from the master bedroom window.
