Ceilings soar with high vaults to a large south-facing skylight. Soft throw rugs on imported Mediterranean tile cover the floor. Verdant plants drape and hang everywhere and fine art hangs on the walls. This is no ordinary bathroom, this is a sanctuary!

Combined with the sun deck downstairs, entering this bathroom is like a spa experience.

During the day, you can soak in the tub and watch the clouds pass by overhead through the huge skylight. At night, light candles and meditate under the stars.

Every detail is accounted for. Bath salts fill a large ceramic vase, crafted by a local artisan, ready to scoop into the six-foot soaker tub. Bath oils and specialty soaps are also provided. Fresh towels and robes fill the drawers of the maple cabinetry, inviting you to relax. Aromatic candles in wrought iron stands sit and hang everywhere, waiting to add that special romantic touch.

Steam Shower

Perhaps the highlight of the master bath, however, is the steam shower. Draped in ivy, you pass inside and the glass doors seal shut. Turn on the steam unit and feel your body's aches and pains melt away as the hot steam penetrates. Select essential oils and pour a few drops into the steam outlets' reservoir for some aroma-therapy. Of course, you can always use it as a regular shower, and running the steamer while showering is a great way to take the chill off from a day skiing or snowboarding in the winter, or soothe sore muscles after golfing, hiking, or mountain biking on the trails at your doorstep in the summer.

The master bath is designed in true "his and hers" style, with it's double sinks, separate sets of drawer banks, separate linens and robes, etc. Designer halogen fixtures with dimmers provide soft light when natural light from the skylight doesn't suffice.
